Racist Beans

Dear La Preferida,

How’ve you bean?  I recently purchased two cans of your FRIJOLES NEGROS at WinCo.

First of all, your products are delicious. I appreciate all of the care and attention that must go into each and every can/box/packet.

But as a person of color, I must take issue with your liberal use of the word NEGROS in your packaging.

While “Negro” was once commonly used, it is now considered offensive. I also understand that it is considered a bad business practice to market products to one race over another.

In the name of race relations and social justice, please cease the use of the word NEGROS in your products.
